Muscle Relief Massage Oil

When you have a strenuous workout, you want your post-exercise routine to support your tired muscles and aide in quick recovery, right? Get your game together before you tackle your next obstacle and be ready for all that comes with it!  

 

Here's our favorite recipe to have on hand post-work out. But first, here are some of our top reasons why and how to use it!

 

+Massage into sore and tired muscles after a strenuous workout, activyty, hike, run, day in the garden, or more to provide you with the perfect soothing, uplifting and cooling effects.

 

+Carry this in your gym bag for instant comfort after your training session.

 

+Integrate massage into your routine to help with muscle recovery after activity.

 

+Use in tandem with Aminowise, our favorite pre & post workout drink that's filled with branch chain amino acids and electrolytes!

 

 

 

The ingredients in our recipe are GREAT for all things soothing and is packed with the top essential oils to support a healthy physical fitness routine. 

 

+Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil: Perfect for stimulating and rejuvinating. It features naturally occurring constituents 1,8 cineole and eucalyptol.

 

+Peppermint Essential Oil:  Provides a cooling, tingling, massage like feeling on the skin that instantly relieves and offers comfort.

 

+Elemi & Lemongrass Essential Oils:  Provide a fresh, citrus scent to this blend and both contain the naturally occurring consituent, limonene. 

 

+Copaiba Essential Oil: Renowned for amplifying the effects of other topical essential oils and is great in aiding in the body's natural response to injury.

 

+Wintergreen Essential Oil:  Provides an amazing, minty scent and cooling sensation that contains the naturally occurring constituent, methyl salicylate. 

 

 

Combine the above essential oils with either our faves, Young Living's V-6 Oil or OrthoEase, or opt for Fractionated Coconut Oil which works great too. These Carrier Oils are perfect because they glide on smooth and allow the essential oils to be absorbed quickly into the skin. 

 

 

MUSCLE RELIEF MASSAGE OIL

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 3 1/2 tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil

  • 14 Drops Wintergreen EO

  • 14 Drops Peppermint EO

  • 10 Drops Eucalyptus Radiata EO

  • 6 Drops Lemongrass EO

  • 6 Drops Elemi EO

  • 2 Ounce Amber Glass Bottle

 

DIRECTIONS: 

 

This recipe calls for 5% dilution, however if you would like a stronger blend to support your workout goals, increase the essential oil drops by double, in order to reach a 10% dilution, if desired.

 

  • Combine all ingredients in the 2 ounce bottle and swirl to combine. 

  • Store in a cool, dark place out of reach of children. May be stored in the fridge prior to use for an even cooler, soothing effect. 

 

TO USE:

 

Massage into skin after physical activity.

Wash hands thoroughly after application.
